From CO to NYC

You gotta swim. Swim for your life. Swim for the music that saves you when you're not so sure you'll survive.
Swim in the dark. There's no shame in drifting.
Don't let yourself sink, the sunrise isn't as far as you think.

There are days where I miss the sun and fresh air of CO.
There are days where I'd give nothing more to be underground in a subway tunnel.

And there are moments.

Moments you wish you could capture forever and store in a bottle.
Moments with friends. Moments with loved ones.
Moments you want to curl up in a ball and hide from the world.
Moments of hurt.

I think the definition of living is not defining your days, not taking all your experiences in the past 24 hours and clumping them into the "good day" or "bad day" category; but to have the freedom to let each moment affect you in whatever way it does and to have an extreme point of view about it. Only then, will you know what it truly feels like to live.

I believe life is about laughing at funerals.
